Exciting things are happening in the technology space around the world and they are having an impact on Ghana.

In this week’s episode of #CitiTrends, we head back to Ashesi University and get some more details about the Ashesi Innovations Experience 2015. Faculty members and students of the Accra based education institution take senior high school children through lessons in robotics, engineering and entrepreneurship.

Also on the show this week is the Centre for International Governance Innovation which launched the Global Commission on Internet Governance; a two-year initiative that has been mandated to produce a comprehensive stand on the future of multi-stakeholder Internet governance. We hear from Dorothy Gordon, director-general of the Accra-based Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT; chair of the Global Commission on Internet Governance, Carl Bildt; Nii Quaynor, chairman of the Board of Directors at the Accra-based National Information Technology Agency and Anriette Esterhuysen, executive director of the South Africa-based Association for Progressive Communications.

Mawuli Tsikata serves the latest bit of news from the world of technology while Awo Apaloo shares three apps of choice.

Enjoy.
