What a week it has been on the technology front in Ghana and what an amazing show it was on Citi 97.3 FM.

This week, the show started off with a chat about why technology innovators from Ghana and Africa seemed not to be making the global impact they should be making despite the amazing solutions they provide. Data and devices manager at MTN Ghana, Abdul-Latif Issahaku joined the chat to share his views.

We also visit the Innovation Week or “i-week” which is an initiative of Ghana – India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT and aims at showcasing ICT innovations in Ghana and her ECOWAS neighbours. #CitiTrends sat in one of the sessions that focused on technology hubs and how they are preparing local tech startups and innovators for ‘global domination’. In the session were Elikplim Sabla of Mobile Web Ghana, Dorcas Okyere from Penplusbytes and Victor Ofebu of impact hub accra. The session was moderated by mac Jordan Degadjor.

Nana Ama Agyemang Asante shares three interesting apps on the APPS segment of the show called ‘Hooked’, ‘Curiyo’ and ‘Realarm’. Mawuli Tsikata brings you up to speed  with the latest in technology stories from across the globe as well.

Enjoy.
